My previous image of Cheran river was done from a little bridge named Pont de Banges. For this one, i found a little steep path to the rocks overhanging the river under the bridge.

Winter here was surprisingly hot and almost snow free.
This image was done 2 days after Christmas, the weather was beautiful and this little castle was perfectly reflecting on the water of Rhône river.
First post here for many months. Some little problems kept me busy far from my cameras during the first part of this year.
Yesterday was my first outing for personal work and i went to visit a part of river Cheran i didn't have photographed before.
Diomaz river runs in the mountains around Bellevaux above Lake Vallon.
I returned there last week, two years after my first visit and was really amazed by the beautiful autumn colors. I spent the afternoon walking around the lake and in the forest and ended at night with the only light of my headlamp.
More images to come soon.
An image from about one week ago after some strong springtime rains.
One from yesterday in the evening with river Fornant running through a messy forest on the last day of winter.
Back to autumn with this image of Flumen river and waterfall in Haut Jura Natural Park.
From the last summer days, cliff reflections on the water of Fornant river.
Vertical version of an image posted here some weeks ago.
Flumen is a short river running through Haut Jura Natural Park just near Saint Claude.
I went there for the first time past week between two rainy days. The place was dark and wet, the waterfalls were impressives with really strong noise and spray.
Because of a client asking for one of my old images, i recently had to browse through a big bunch of photos from when i was living in Provence. It gave me the idea of posting here a summary of my favorite shots of this beautiful little river.
Fornant river running under the wood between Chaumont and Frangy.
Without all the rain we had in july and august, this place wouldn't be so beautiful in the last week of summer.
Eventail waterfall is probably the most famous of all the Hérisson waterfalls for two reasons : It's the tallest fall and access is really easy (a few minutes walk on a good path).
More images of Hérisson waterfalls here.
On sunday, we went for a family walk along Fornant river, from our home until its junction with Usses river.
The lower part of the stream was one i had never explored berfore and i was very happy to find a beautiful place where i hope to return soon with a camera.
Back home i had a look at all my images of the river and found this one which was not on the blog although being 2 years old.
All my photos of Fornant river are here.
