My first image of Talloires, a beautiful and very touristic village on the coast of Annecy lake.

The large "house" you can see under the belltower is a more than 1000 years old abbey and today a 4 stars hôtel known as Talloires Abbey.

Eventail waterfall is probably the most famous of all the Hérisson waterfalls for two reasons : It's the tallest fall and access is really easy (a few minutes walk on a good path).

When i made this image of Bellecombe en Bauges village, i was standing in some green meadows under a very cloudy sky.
Just for a few minutes, the sun lighted the forest just near and i just had the time to run a little through the fields and make this image.

A closer view of Saint Claude with its cathedral and some old houses.
The cathedral is more than 8 centuries old and has a very long name : Cathédrale Saint Pierre, Saint Paul et Saint André.
The Maison du Peuple that you can see in the foreground is also an old building used today as a cinema. You can read more (in french) about its history here.

Bellecombe en Bauges is one of the numerous villages in Massif des Bauges Natural Park. It's located in the mountains of Savoie department but is also very close to Haute Savoie.

My last visit to Massif des Bauges Natural Park some weeks ago started with some rural landscapes near Bellecombe village, continued with some images of river Chéran and ended in this forest overhanging the river. It was a mixed forest with coniferous and decideous trees, the last ones providing the green background in this image.
