Corso Garibaldi is a big commercial and touristic street in Torino. This grey wall with the fashion ads gives a good feeling of this street in winter.

While my previous images of Bourget lake were done on the east cost near Aix les Bains, for this one i went to its north end in Châtillon-Chindrieux, a beautiful village with a quaint harbour.

After some long rainy weeks, the sun is back for a few days and i spent a nice time friday afternoon to complete my collection about Annecy lake.

Charabotte waterfall on Albarine river

Charabotte waterfall on Albarine river

 

Albarine river runs through Ain department and just after Hauteville Lompnès jumps a cliff of more than 100 meters. It's Charabotte waterfall which is the highest in the department.

I went there two days ago for a first visit of the waterfall and the lower valley. All the images were posted yesterday on my website, you can have a look here.

I went yesterday for a scouting walk in some new places along the Usses river.
Points of view of the river itself were no really interesting but i found some nice scenes in the forest just near.

This lake is one of the biggest natural lakes in France and is known for having inspired the famous poet Lamartine.
