I've just done a 18x12 print and i love it. The sky is perfectly smooth and the rocks pop just how i like :)
Done with 4 exposures : 2 blended in Photomatix (average method) and used for the sky, a single one for the sea and the rocks are the result of a real hdr work with the 4 exp.

Guess what? I just got myself a LUMIX LX3 Panasonic digital camera! It's a digital camera that doubles as a professional camera!
I almost cried reading the manual! I don't know what all those symbols and letters mean! So now, I have decided to just use the Intelligent Automatic (IA) feature, and let the camera figure out what settings to use for different scenarios!
What do you think about that?
The LX3 looks like to be a beautiful camera. I've never used a camera with another mode than manual or aperture priority so i can't give you any advice but i'm sure that you're really more intelligent than all this electronic stuff :)
Oh but you don't understand...I'm not a photographer (although sometimes I think I am) I don't know how to go about all these things!
Although...this morning I was tinkering with it and I think I learned quite a bit more! :)
I think I a worrying too much...I will enjoy my camera and learn it by and by through using it... :)
