Light on the landscape

Rural landscape aurond Chilly in Haute Savoie
Rural landscape around Chilly in Haute Savoie

Something different of the kind of landscapes i usually do. That's really rare for me to use a 300 mm.

This morning i was around Annecy lake at about 6 am. It was cold and i had to remember quick how to shoot with frosted hands and how to warm batteries.

Like you, I hardly ever think to use long lenses, but ususally when I do I am am happy with the fresh perspective. I like the flattening effect.. more graphic. This is very attractive.
Nothing like trying to operate your camera with frozen fingers on a frosty morning:)

I love the shot. I love the light in the shot and the shapes. I like using different lenses. It helps keep the perspective fresh. If I were going to push my photos up a level, what would you recommend I do? Levonne's Pretty Pics

That's a difficult question Levonne ...

I would say practise as much as you can, check other's work, try different lights ...

There is no magic recipe :)
