I've always loved this kind of scenes with rivers and cascades running under the wood. Now i'm lucky enough to have one just under my house.
Yesterday i was at 6 am in Annecy to catch the first light over the lake surrounded by the autumn mountains covered by the first snow. You'll see the images before the end of this week :)

Thank's Levonne and yes i used a tripod. Perharps will you find 2 or 3 exceptions but i think that all the photos posted on this blog were done with a tripod.
With rivers and waterfalls, when you see the silky water effect contrasting with the rocks sharpness you can be sure that a tripod was used because the water effect needs a long exposure and without a tripod all the image would be blurred.
These ones are amongst my favourites. I could sit in front of that for hours...
