Same place than in my post from 2 weeks ago.
That's a little canyon close to my home i discovered 4 years ago and never returned since.
Sunday evening the rain was nice enough to stop a little bit and i thought the waterfall could be nice. The path was barely a track in the mud, the forest looked like a jungle but the waterfall was really not impressive ...
One more image from Castran canyon but without the river.
In my first post about this place i wrote i couldn't find the name of the river running here. A more complete search with different maps told me it's the Castran river.
This image was also done during my first visit to the canyon. I returned there on last friday, the stream was still running nicely, the green forest was wonderfully lush but the waterfall was dry ...
That's a new place i discovered just the day before my departure to Paris.
Back home, i had a look at the map, found the river and the waterfall but no name was given. A rapid look at the web didn't give more information.
I returned on the place with a camera in the evening for images of the waterfall and i expect to return in the next days for more photos of the stream under the springtime woods.
