Another photo from my recent visit to the banks of Usses rivers two days ago.
All the images were posted yesterday on my website, you can have a look here.
I went yesterday for a scouting walk in some new places along the Usses river.
Points of view of the river itself were no really interesting but i found some nice scenes in the forest just near.
I've published all the images from my first visit to this lake a few days ago on my french website. You can check them here.
Lake Génin is a little lake i discovered a few days ago in the mountains of Ain department.
It was a short visit and i came back with a few images. I start today with this one done using a combination of multiexposure and camera motion.
Bénit lake is an alpine lake in Massif des Bornes and located just under Bargy mountain at an elevation of 1477 m.
The place is beautiful, surrounded by white cliffs and green coniferous forests.
I went there for a family walk in july and returned a few days ago to make images.
Another view of Haut Jura Natural Park done a few weeks ago in the deep forest of Champfromier.
I'm just back from a short visit to some friends living in Valserine valley. This little trip in Haut Jura Natural Park was not photography oriented and i just took a very short time two days ago for a few images of the surrounding landscape. This one was done just near my friend's house and i think it gives a very nice view of the summer here. In winter these fields and coniferous trees are under tons of snow.
An image from a june trip in the mountains of Haut Jura Natural Park.
It was a beautiful evening on the valley with sun and clouds in the sky. I really love that place, lost between mountains and forests.
Note 1 : I've posted this morning 16 images from this day on my website.
Note 2 : On friday, i discovered and climbed a little mountain behind the ones you can see here. The light was not so beautiful but the view on Jura department was truely amazing. Photos will come soon.
Somewhere on the cliffs over Fornant river.
During a recent exploration of the lower part of the river, i left the main path to search a nice point of view from the top of the canyon. I wasn't successful in that way but i was seduced by the contrast between green leaves and the dark trunk of this old oak tree.
When i went to Surjoux to make images of Pain de Sucre waterfall, i noticed a little place with a nice point of view on the Rhône valley.
I came back a few weeks later by a rainy afternoon with short appearances of sun.
Weather was really awful when i arrived, so i first spent a long time driving all around to explore this part of the valley i don't know well.
When the rain stopped to fall continually, i returned to this place overhanging the river where i could make a short serie of images under the warm light of a few sunrays making the green forests really beautiful.
The complete serie was published yesterday on my french website.
Note :
If you're interested in french geography, Rhône river is here the boundary between 2 departments, Ain on the right side of the image and Haute Savoie on the left side.
A detail recently caught in the forest near my home.
I'm not sure such bark is sign of good health for the tree but at least it makes beautiful images.
I don't have posted any image of Valserine valley for a long time.
I was reviewing photos on my website and noticed this one which was never published here although it's one of my fav done with my camera-shake method.
An image from last week done during my visit to Pain de Sucre waterfall.
Although the main goal was to make images of the waterfall i took a little time for a few photos of the river which was running nicely underwood before the junction with the Rhône river.
Detail of an old and mossy tree stump in the forest surrounding the castle in Menthon Saint Bernard.
